Terms of Service

Last updated: August 18, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TonoDesk service (the "Service"), operated by Appa Digital LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You're responsible for the security of your account. Do not share your Supabase credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, email security@beatura.com immediately.

2. Plans and billing

  • Free tier: 1 monitored search, 50 items/month, no credit card required.
  • Pro tier: $14.99/month, billed monthly by Stripe. Unlimited searches, unlimited items, AI-drafted replies.
  • Teams tier: contact billing for custom pricing.
  • You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

3. What TonoDesk does

TonoDesk collects publicly visible content from platforms you configure (X, Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, Indie Hackers), scores and organizes it in your inbox, and drafts reply suggestions using Claude by Anthropic. TonoDesk does NOT:

  • Post, reply, or DM on your behalf without a human click.
  • Access private accounts, DMs, or gated content.
  • Guarantee that every relevant mention will be captured — platforms rate-limit and change their APIs.
  • Guarantee that any specific AI-drafted reply is "approved," "compliant," or "on-brand." Drafts are advisory only; you are responsible for what you send.

4. Human-in-the-loop reply requirement

Every reply you send using a TonoDesk-drafted suggestion must be reviewed and approved by a human. This is a hard product constraint: there is no auto-send mode. You are solely responsible for the content of any reply you send, including its compliance with the destination platform's Terms of Service, applicable law (FTC endorsement guidelines, TCPA, etc.), and your own brand voice.

5. Fair use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate the ToS of X, Reddit, or any other monitored platform (rate limits, automation restrictions, prohibited-content rules)
  • Harass, stalk, or dox individuals
  • Send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or automated replies presented as human
  • Publish or use drafts that are false, deceptive, or violate FTC endorsement rules
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service
  • Circumvent Free-tier limits by opening multiple accounts

Fair Use policy

Pro and Teams plans are subject to fair use — designed to stop abuse (scripted mass account creation, automated poll spamming), not real users. If your usage pattern trips our fair-use monitoring, we'll email you before taking action.

6. Data ownership and license

You own your configuration data (campaigns, keywords, groups, reply drafts you author). You grant us a limited license to store and process it to provide the Service. Public content captured by TonoDesk is subject to the original platform's ownership rules — you are responsible for compliance with those.

7. AI-drafted content

AI-drafted replies are generated by Claude (Anthropic) based on the public source post and (optionally) your campaign's brand-voice anchor. You own the drafts once they're stored in your account. Anthropic's enterprise terms prohibit model training on API traffic.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service. Platform APIs (X, Reddit) rate-limit and change; item collection may pause during those windows.

9. Termination

You may cancel any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice unless we reasonably believe immediate action is required. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days per our Privacy Policy, then permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. In no event will our liability exceed the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for any consequences of replies you send using TonoDesk-drafted suggestions.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; when we do, we'll email active paying customers and post a notice in-product for 30 days. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
